Use any type of mold. Release mold and core with streic acid release agent, and allow to dry.

With a white sponge stipple latex (deviant brand) over mold and core. On mold side stay off of blending edge, and apply 2 coats. On core side do 1 coat all over, and a second coat on the appliance area just shy of the blend edge. Dry and cover keys with clay for next step.

Mix Thinned KE45-T caulk (thin with OS-10) with Telesis 4 or 5 at an 80/20 ratio. Spray this over all mold and core surfaces. Remove covers from Keys and close and strap mold quickly.

Warm dry molds (100-110 degrees) for 30 minutes

Mix Gels as Follows:

100 parts XP-298

120 parts DC 200 fluid

tint with silicone compatible pigments

Using this as a base, figure catalyst amount by multiplying base weight by .046. This will give the amount of regular catalyst. Divide that number in half and this is the amount of XT-177 fast catalyst. It may be necessary to lower the fast catalyst for larger molds

Inject Silicone through pre-placed tubes in core of mold, plug tubes, and warm cure for 1 to 1.5 hours.

Open, powder pieces off of cores, and store on forms

Notes: The reason for using the caulking is two fold. It first helps the gel adhere to the skin, and second it slows down the migration of the DC 200 fluid. The amount of plasticizer can be lowered to give a more dense gel, but this will also result in a thicker silicone
