The Compleat Sculptor ,Inc The name says it all. This has to be one of the most amazing assortments of clays, silicones, tools, and books that I have ever seen. Their web site is a must see for any 3-D artist.

Silicones Inc There GI 1000 is one of the most widely used of all silicone mold materials. The recently sent me samples of 2 platinum cure silicones gels that I am in the process of testing right now. The cured samples look VERY promising.

Smooth-on Ever since I got Dragon Skin into my hands I have not looked back. This is the other company that ALL of you should know and love. Mold making and casting materailal that will make your lives much easier.

Factor II THE company to know when it comes to silicones. They stock a wide variety of Tin and Platnium cure gels, coloration kits, mold materials and the best selection of Instructional books on silicone prosthetics that i have ever seen. They also have a wealth of information on the website that is of use to the silicone artist. You would be doing yourself a great disservice by not going there now.

New Baldies This is a company to watch. Their new medacally safe bald cap plastic was the talk of the European Trade Show. I think its going to revolutionize the way that not only plastc caps are made, but it could have a huge impact on the manufacturing of GFAs as well. DEFINATLY give the plastic a try. You won't be sorry.

Premiere Products, Inc The Skin Illustrator pallettes, have to be among the most useful things a prosthetic artist could have in their bag of tricks. I also use the line of Telesis adheasives, and the Super Solv Remover (now available in the SUPER USEFUL gel formula)and I could not ask for a better line of adhesives or removers. If I can't have my 355 i'll gladly take Telesis 4

Monster Makers I have been ordering off and on from the Monster Makers since I was in High School. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgable, and stocks a wide variety of materials, books that would be of interest. Check them out!

Walco Materials Group Inc This company carries a wide variety of silicones, urethanes, and epoxies that would be of use to artists in our field.

Pink house Studios, Inc. Pink House used to be the distributor for the FXSMITH Prosthetic system. While that product is no longer available their Ply-O-Life platinum mold making material is quite lovely for lifecasts.

The Motion Picture F/X Company This is a GREAT site for high end very industrial influenced makeup cases. Many of the prices have just recently been lowered on several of their more popular models . They also carry a pretty good selecton of makeup supplies, books and video tapes. This is THE place to go if you are in the market for something just a little more smoov then a glorified tackle box.

Dr. Bankenstien Within the confines of this web shop you will find a selection of some of (if not THE ) best sculpting tools on the market.

Mr Fun's Costumes This costume shop will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first job as a makeup artist ( working at their small booth set up in a local area mall) I have since then bugged them everytime I go back to Ohio. If you are in the Akron area stop by and tell them I sent ya ;)

Publications

Makeup Artist Magazine There have been several very good articles on silicone prosthetics and translucent materials in back issues that are well worth investigating.

Movie Fx Magazine This is a great little DVD mag that has been around for a few years now. It covers all aspects of special effects and usually includes a makeup related tutorial. If you've not picked this up yet, I'd suggest you do so asap!

Miscellaneous

Punk Ass Gear How much can be said about this fine fine company? Its owned by my friend Kristoff, and his shirts cater to the sub-genres everywhere. You should buy stuff from him. Who doesn't need an "I fling poo" shirt?

Black Works Tattoos This is where I go to get inked. Jeremy is an amazing artist, and I highly reccomend him to anybody that wants to express their devotion to a band, girlfriend, or for a special mothers day gift. You WON'T be disappointed!

Trench Co sadly, they are no more. :( From what I understand in the coming months Steve is going to convert the site to a forum on making replica costumes, and may include the patterns for all of the former products. I was fortunate to have purchased what I believe to be the LAST of the Deckard trench coats. You will be missed.
